Dr. Amy Franks, MD

My name is Amy Franks, and I am a board-certified psychiatrist with a love for travel and the outdoors. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Denver, where I studied Biology, Chemistry, and French. I completed both medical school and psychiatry residency training at the University of Colorado, serving as chief resident during my final year.I work with adults of all ages and have a particular passion for supporting young adults. I help patients navigate a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. My interest in global mental health drives me to understand and address mental health issues in diverse cultural contexts.I take a holistic and personalized approach to care, collaborating with my patients to help them achieve their unique goals. My focus on compassionate care allows me to help make meaningful change in their lives.
