It's apparent to me this provider has limited experience in interviewing children.

Gave me a treatment that hasn't worked well in the past, didn't listen to everything I had to say about my condition or my concerns

Horrible provider that does not take the time to listen and chooses her own emotions over the families/patients. Very uncaring and rude beyond rude. Zero care in the world when she has no idea what the diagnosis truly is due to it being so rare that it is only talked about for a few minutes in med school, words directly from another specialist that treats my daughter. Fired her from my daughter’s case and was met with a major attitude and told to go elsewhere if we didn’t like the care she provided, so we ended up transferring to her old GI in the cities that used to come to Duluth. Steer clear of this woman if you want your child to receive the care and compassion they deserve, as well as what the family deserves. Unprofessionalism is an understatement with this provider.

Dr. Garcia is the best! She's so easy to work with, patient and caring.

Possibly a good doctor for others but we had a terrible experience and will not see her again.

Dr. Garcia took excellent care of my son. She was very knowledgable and explained things in a way that was easy to understand and follow. She speaks directly to my son and made us both feel at ease. Her office staff is fantastic. Would highly recommend Dr Garcia and her team.

She entered the room and immediately said all my sons symptoms were "normal" because he was still gaining weight and all the tests our other doctors had done were probably false-positives and if I didn't like her answer, I could find another doctor, so I did.

Dr. Garcia is intelligent and calm, but her quick visit and speedy diagnosis left us a bit baffled. Later we looked up her diagnosis to get more information she didn't stay to answer our questions. Also, because our son was having trouble urinating she threatened him rather nastily with a catheter. By the end of the visit he was pretty frightened of her. That being said, her staff was kind and courteous.
