I dont know how many patients she sees, she didnt know the benefits of one of the recent medications for a skin problem in my kid.

I tried to obtain an appointment with Dr. Gilliam. I was told by UCSF that she no longer took patients except for her Palo Alto Practice

Dr. Gilliam is absolutely AMAZING in all areas associated with her practice! Dr. Gilliam went above and far beyond my expectations! It is clear that she genuinely cares for her patients. During office visits she takes her time, ensuring all of your concerns have been addressed. As a result you may experience a longer wait time then expected, but while waiting you can be assured that the wait time is due to her exceptional bedside manner that one experiences on each visit! Dr. Gilliam typically returns your calls the same day you leave her a message. Dr. Gilliam will keep you updated on the progress of Your case; she will contact you on the weekends, before office hours, and/or after office hours. My daughter has an extremely rare tumor, and Dr. Gilliam was highly recommended by the Pediatrican. Dr. Gilliam facilitated consultation amongst her peers, cohort, and medical facilities like UCSF and Harvard, to ensure the best treatment options were considered. This is the BEST service I… have ever received by any medical physican and I truly credit Dr. Gilliam for helping our family through a very scary experience that required multiple surgeries and extensive collaboration amongst medical professionals.

Maybe I cuught this doctor on a bad day but my experince was not good. I have a skin condotion she was unable to diagnose, or properly medicate. If she spent more than a minute with me it may have helped.
