Dr. Amy Goldfaden, MD

Dr. Goldfaden is superbly detail-oriented and knowledgeable. She's the best physician I've ever met--and I can't imagine a better internist out there.

Dr Goldfaden has been my Internist for 35 years. I cannot say enough good things about her skills. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. If you send her a message she responds same day. She has a great reputation in the medical community. I worry when she retires if we will ever find a comparable replacement.

Amy has been my primary care physician for over 40 years. While I now live over an hour away from her office, I can’t imagine seeing anyone else. She always takes her time during appointments, answers all questions, in depth, and her diagnostic abilities are amazing.

Knows her strengths, supports patient concerns. Will give a hug when initiated.

Dr. Goldfaden is great. She always takes time to discuss any problems that you have. She never rushes to get out of the exam room. She willingly explains any questions you have and gives you reasons for her suggestions. I have been going to Dr. Goldfaden for over 20 years. If you are really sick, almost always you can get an appointment with one of the doctors that day or the next. The office employees are friendly and efficient!

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldfaden's for nearly 30 years, and there' s no one I trust more with my health care. Love her.

I have been with this practice for over nine years and have finally switched. Dr.Goldfaden may have been a good doctor at one point but that ship has sailed. Whenever I would go in for something she would always say I pulled a muscle. No matter what the actual diagnosis was she would just say it was a pulled muscle. My father went to her as well and she missed his heart condition. Once we switched doctors he was diagnosed with severe asthma, a heart condition, and in need of stomach medicine. All of which Dr.Goldfaden missed. Several other people I know have switched. Her husband is a neurologist and any time one of us had a problem that required neurology she would only recommend her husband. Truth be told he is not good either. To make matters worse she felt that I had "too many problems" (I have a chronic illness) and instead of acknowledging my chronic illness she would say that I have "migraines". She did not believe in my chronic illness and continuously dismissed me like I was a… child. I am writing this review so other people do not go to this practice and get told that they are crazy or that there is nothing wrong with them when there really is. Not to mention the office staff is terrible. They hung up on my son who also used to go to the practice when he tried to get his test results. Kathy at the desk is absolutely horrible, as she yelled at my elderly father because he was not understanding what she was saying. Bad staff to go with the poor doctors.

She's been my Dr for about 35 years...thru thick and thin! Practice is about full; appointments are hard to get for new patients.

Excellent Dr. She is concerned about your well being. She is patient. Love the follow up.
