Had to wait a while to be seen but when I was, I had a great experience. Dr. Hurwitz helped me recover from my truly horrific stomach bug and kept me laughing despite the pain and nausea. Thank you, Dr. Hurwitz!

Seriously - how did she get a job in the Duke system? She was rude, talking to me like I was a 6 year old, and completely lacking in empathy. I will not be returning to this ER on the off chance that she will be there.

During a visit to Duke Regional ER, I was shocked at the rudeness and uncaring attitude from this Doctor. Not only was she not wearing a white coat identifying her as a doctor, but she had stickers covering the credentials on her name tag. She was so blase about how the patient (my family member) was doing I had trouble having confidence in her. If I can avoid this ER in the future I will.

You don't normally need to walk in ERs' unless it's necessary. Duke is supposed to be one of the the top tier hospitals in the world! Me and my family wonder how they hire their physicians. This trip to the ER at Duke was a complete disaster. I ended up with this Dr. Hurwitz who I personally think was rude and obnoxious. Did not read medical chart for medical history before seeing me. Rushed through the whole process as if she didn't even care. The worst experience!

Seriously, this doc is not even qualified to be a physician. She is a cold, obnoxious doc and doesn't deserve to be a caretaker at least. Very disappointed.

She is a very cold and doesn't seem to care and definitely not detailed oriented physician. The worst experience I ever had in decades!

Bedside manner, diagnosis and treatment were bad. She is not paying attention to symptoms, is rude and ended up performing a treatment that was inappropriate - though thankfully not harmful in my case. person has no business interacting with patients.

I have had several ER visits and this was one of the worst DR's I have ever come across. She was very rude and rushed. Dismissed all my concerns without considering what I had to say and although I have an extensive history in the computer she followed none of the standard protocol that is stated in my records. Horrible bedside manor.
