Dr. Amy Lynn Kanner, MD

A. Kanner claims to be a "Board Eligible" internist. However, she got her degree in 1982, which means she has failed the test repeatedly, or never taken it. You are only supposed to claim you are "eligible" for 7 years. So, she has no specialty and no board license, but she still pretends she holds that title. She is a doctor that trial lawyers hire when they want a report written for a lawsuit. She writes the reports just the way she is paid to. She doesn't treat patients - just 10 minute exams, then she somehow writes a detailed multi-page report about your condition, of which she has no knowledge - but she makes the people paying her bills happy. Lawyers like her because she does what she is told (for the right price), but she has nothing to do with caring for patients.

She might have a medical degree, but doesn't practice medicine. She takes blood pressure readings for seniors and that's about it.
