Dr. Amy Lynn Keller, MD

Very good doctor.

I decided to see Dr. Keller because of her "rave reviews". However, my experience has been drastically different. As an adult, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD. My whole life I've been struggling and adapting the best I can in a neurotypical world to the best of my ability. Once diagnosed, I sought out psychological treatment. At the encouragement of my therapist, I reached out to Dr. Keller for medication. She did help me get started seeing what medication worked for me. After a few days on the medication, it didn't have any affect. I made an appt with her to increase the dosage. At that appointment (2 weeks after starting medication) she ordered a urine drug test w/out my knowledge or consent. The test came back that there was traces of alcohol and she decided to stop my treatment and deferred me to psychiatry. At NO time was I informed that I could not have alcohol, or that I would be randomly drug tested. Dr. Keller did not know me at all. Our doctor-patient… relationship was very new. Her lack of transparency with me made me feel violated and betrayed. I am seeking a different doctor who respects me as a human being and doesn't treat me like a criminal.
