Dr. Amy Lynn Kissinger, MD

I visited her for my annual & was curious if my Vit.D levels were low. She suggested I could do tests for VitD, metabolic panel. I explicitly asked her if it will be covered by my insurance, since there was no need for me to additional tests, I have zero health issues.Her prompt response was "there is no reason for it to not be covered". Feeling reassured, I said yes and later got billed $440 for it and she never had the courtesy to even respond to my calls, messages!! 5 months of trying to reason out this bill between her terrible office staff and her unresponsiveness, and the hospital billing dept always asking me to contact the doctor's office, I am tired and I am just going to pay the bill. But definitely not going back to her. Horrible experience!!

I have been going to Dr Kissinger for ~5 years. I have been generally pleased with Dr Kissinger, but the office operation is a mess. Last year, they lost the results of an MRI I had on my knee, and it took 2+ months to get feedback from Dr Kissinger. They also once forgot I was sitting in the waiting room for an appointment, so I sat for an hour past my scheduled appointment time. More recently, I switched insurance and the front desk lied to me that I was still in-network. Now the office is charging me a huge fee because of their slip up. My advice is to trust your healthcare to an operation that has it together.

Dr. Kissinger is the most sincere, concerned and thorough doctor I've seen in over 20 years. She takes time to know you and your health concerns; unlike most HMO cattle call practices I've been to. Highly recommend.
