Dr. Amy Louise Lazzarini, MD

I was being seen by another doctor for another issue. Even though it was unrelated to my appointment with her, she did such a thorough review of my history and issues that she caught an issue with my kidney function that had come up as a result of the medication prescribed by the other doctor. Now that we have addressed it I am feeling better and I'm so glad this was identified early rather than after irreparable damage had been done. So thankful that she looks at the whole patient.

I had heard good things about the Virginia Center for Health & Wellness and was able to get an appointment with Dr. Lazzarini who has apparently recently relocated to the area to join the practice. All I can say is her model of healthcare is how it should be. The time she spent to really delve into my history and health and to listen to my concerns was gratifying and her knowledge across a large variety of areas. I highly recommend.

Dr Lazzarini is caring and compassionate but also very good at diagnosis and treatment. She takes the best of modern medicine and integrative/functional medicine for the best care for me as a person ( and not just jump to conclusions with a one size fit all approach) I just found out she is leaving her practice in Syracuse to join a practice in Virginia ...my loss is the gain of people in northern VA I didn’t rate the subjects that addressed the office staff and such because i don’t know what it will be like in her new practice, although I’m guessing it will be great if she chose to go there.

Dr. Lazzarini is incredibly attentive and intuitive to her patients needs. She has an innate ability that allows her patients to feel seen and heard. She takes her time and is thorough in explaining her patients diagnosis and plan of care. I have recommended Dr. Lazzarini to several of my friends and family members and will continue to do so.

Dr. Lazzarini is highly educated and very knowledgeable. She provided thorough and accurate information very quickly. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to.

She listened, really listened, to me and was able to give a good diagnosis where other doctors had written me off or given up. Once diagnosed, instead of a one size fit all approach to treatment, she worked with me to come up with a treatment that improved my numbers and helped me feel better while reducing medication over time. I highly recommend her.
