Dr. Amy E Mauritson, MD

Amy Mauritson is the worst of the worst! Her M.O. is zero communication! During COVID the hospitals have major restrictions on visitors, so patient's family are not allowed to be physically present. Dr. Mauritson takes advantage of this and avoids communication-period! She NEVER returned one of our calls to discuss my family member's daily lab results and prognosis. I highly suspect she was at the bottom of her medical school class. She should have stayed in the graphic design world (or whatever she was doing for years before going to med school) and left medicine to people who take pride in their work, strive to be the best, understand that communication is a critical part of the hospitalization/medical process and is not a useless sloth. If Amy Mauritson is assigned to you or your family member, request another doctor. RUN from this woman-she is dangerous!

Waited 5 hours to talk to her in the hospital, was told she is busy and doesn’t have time to talk to us to resolve our concerns and we were discharged with symptoms. Refused to order any test to get root cause of my wife’s unexplained fever.
