Dr. Amy Catherine Mcclatchy, MD

I have been seeing Dr. McClatchy for over ten years. For most of the time I’ve been in great health and only went in for the annual check up, but unfortunately in this past year I have been incredibly ill. At first she was concerned and treated me properly, but after a while she would tell me the same things in regards to my condition and treatment. Test after test was run and I ended up being referred to three different specialists to help my condition. I’ve had surgery and many procedures done to help but my health is still not looking up and school is starting up again. Concerned we attempted to call her office to set up an appointment but was denied the appointment because she felt as it wasn’t important enough. I have yet to update her on my recent condition and what my specialists have diagnosed me with, but she keeps brushing it off and telling me to talk to someone else because I have the same thing (which ended up being the wrong diagnosis from her) over and over and that… she’s busy and doesn’t have time to deal with me. Lately every time I’ve contacted their office and get sent to the nurse she’s always called back and told me my doctor said to ask someone else. I feel this is very unprofessional even if she can’t figure out what’s wrong with me she is still my pediatrician and should take into consideration the opinions of the doctors SHE referred me to. I am currently looking for another pediatrician and will hopefully get someone who doesn’t ghost their patients and yell at them for coming into their office when sick.

It seems like everytime I try to schedule an appointment with this doctor she is never there.
