Dr. Amy Mccroskey, MD

Actually told me she wasn't going to waste her time looking at my chart. I have several medical allergies and a genetic disorder and she only cared about her ego! I am taking this to the Patient Experience Team

Her diagnoses was exactly right when she knew my symptoms. A great caring doctor.

Cant even begin to tell you how awful this Dr. is. Took my little one into the ER with an ear issue and all she wanted to do was a CT scan to check for a skull fracture. Needless to say CT was clear like we knew it would be. But the worst part is after that she refused to address his ear issue (bleeding from his ear) and told us to see an ENT!! Worst possible care I have ever seen and I work in the health care field.

She is one of the worst doctors I've met. She told me it was all in my head but will give my daughter the meds to just get us out of thwre

My brother was taken to the Cox South ER by ambulance with unbearable pain. She was assigned to his case and literally blew both him and our family off. After checking his chart and determining that he has been on pain meds for quite some time, stated that, "He is only here for the drugs." She also read that he had been a past alcoholic and when the family explained that he had suffered a major stroke over 3 years ago, and hadn't had a drink since that time, she laughed at them. They requested a different doctor. He has since been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She needs to be out of the medical profession.

Poor service. Wrong diagnosis. Lack of attention.

Worst doctor ever! I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Absolutely the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Rude, hateful, harmful--misdiagnosed my problem ans sent me home to get far worse. I would NEVER recommend this so called doctor to anyone!

Dr. Mccroskey did not take the time to listen to my symptoms but instead ordered tests I had already had. Test results did not address my symptoms, yet Dr. Mccroskey accused me of not having the symptoms I had. This Dr. is rude and a waste of time and money.

What a pathetic excuse for a doctor. CoxHealth must have put her in the emergency department because no one in their right mind would ever choose to have her as a primary care doctor. I strongly urge every patient that is assigned to her in the ER to request another physician. Her beside manner is nowhere to be found, she will flat out lie to your face, and couldn't diagnose a splinter if you showed it to her. I really believe this woman will hurt people (or worse) through sheer arrogance and incompetence. BEWARE!!!
