Dr. Amy M S Miller

I saw Dr. Miller years ago in Minnesota, and I still feel the need after all these years to warn others. I had pretty severe menorrhagia and she did very little to determine the cause of my symptoms. My own research had convinced me that I had endometriosis but she dismissed me with orders for hormonal birth control. When I refused, her only other recommendation was for a hysterectomy at age 32. She also ran blood tests and mentioned my LH and FSH levels were off, but it was only due to my own research that I realized this was indicative of PCOS. Five years later I am under the care of another doctor who has performed my laparoscopic surgery and diagnosed me with endometriosis, and I am now 28 weeks pregnant. I am reminded with my growing belly that this never would have happened had I not sought another opinion after seeing Dr. Miller.

Amy Miller is my idea of a near-ideal physician. She is warm, caring, full of information, and she takes time with me. She is obviously very capable as exams and a minor surgical procedure have all been done with a minimum of discomfort. (I'm not sure it was necessary for a follow-up as the surgery was only minor). When my previous gynecologist left to take a hospitalist job, I was not looking forward to starting all over with a stranger. Amy Miller made the transition easy for me. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Miller tried to scare me into having an elective c-section for my 8lb baby, only due to him being large, no other reason. She used every scare tactic in the book! She wanted to induce me at 38 weeks, but I said no. I delivered him vaginally just fine. If you are looking for an OB who's pro c-section, pro intervention, anti-breastfeeding, this is the OB for you. If not, stay far, far away.

We are really lucky to have Dr. Miller to take care of my wife. She is extremely patient, knowledgeable, always keep her commitment to her patient and has high responsiveness. I couldnâ??t forget that night she help my wife deliver my baby boy after almost 20 hours tough period and she did fantastic job to make the right decision at every step. I mean starting from my wife water broken early, contraction not strong, get infection to hard final delivery, she handle all the complex situation with clear plan/decision that always trying to find a best solution for her patient. With her strong encouragement, we finally deliver a lovely baby boy via virginal birth. We feel a little bit guilty that she spend her two days weekend visit us and help us to deliver the baby. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller to you cause you can definitely trust her. Our family all very appreciated her professional and all best wishes to her.

Dr. Miller really took her time to explain everything to me! I appreciate the kind manner and knowledge she has.

She is a wonderful doctor, and I would refer friends and family. She is very caring, and spends more time with patients than any other doctor I have seen. She is an excellent OBGYN and I travelled 100 miles to see her for my second pregnancy. She handled my case with the utmost professionalism, and was amazing with diagnosis and follow up with a difficult delivery and post partum issues I was having.

I would not refer anyone to see her. She does not listen with an open mind, lacks compassion, flat out disregards patients symptoms, deflects responsibility and appears to have ulterior motives that I would consider to be dangerous. Terrible bedside manner.
