Looking for a great family doctor

My first visit was wonderful. I saw the physician assistant, Molly, she was thorough, empathetic, professional and had great bedside manner. The office is clean, the office staff in the front is exceptional, they are quick but calm in nature unlike other frantic doctor's office. My concerns about everything were answered as a hypochondriac. They didn't doubt me or make me feel like what I was saying was not real. I got tested right away for everything. Also, they give referrals pretty quickly. I also like the nurses there. If you're worried about finding a good general physician, check this one out, they even take my BCBS HMO. You're in and out quickly, no heavy wait times.

Dr. Murphy plays nice. However she is just another money hungry Doctor doing everything she can to put money in her fat wallet. This review is not down playing her medical knowledge. However, she will constantly try and take extra blood and urine tests so that she can make money. She told me that it was state law that i have to take a urine test to get my medicine. When the state does not require this by any means. I highly recommend not seeing Dr. Murphy unless you like getting suckered out of your hard earned money.

Dr Murphy is very thorough, professional and kind. I trust her. Her nurse is very good also. The receptionist is pretty rude to patients, I have noticed on more than one occasion but you deal with her very little.

Dr. Murphy is the BEST doctor that I have ever met in my life. NOT kidding.To begin with, she LISTENS. This is incredibly rare in a doctor these days. She treats her patients as if they have a clue and know something about their own health and their own history. She cares how they feel and pays close attention if they tell her they have felt this way before or had these types of symptoms before, and even listens to what has worked for them in the past. NO EGO ISSUES with this doctor, she is priceless. She cares about what you have to say, and then uses her professional expertise and COMMON SENSE to figure out what is really going on and get to the root of any problem. She is practical AND caring at the same time... she will be honest with you and tell it like it is, but she does this with compassion and concern and respect for your ideas, opinions, and preferences. Such a brilliantly simple approach to treating patients! How rare! Not to be forgotten... these same qualities… are found in her colleagues, Dr. Carter and Dr. Bailey. When Dr. Murphy's schedule is full I have complete confidence in these other doctors at her office also. They share her considerate, compassionate, commmon sense, knowledgeable approach to medicine. Best Doctor's Office on Earth. Every single person in the office... receptionists, nurses, technicians, whatever... share this same attitude. They are ALL completely patient centered, smartest people I've ever dealt with at a doctor's office, completely the BEST.

I have had many physicians throughout my life, but the past 8 years, I have stuck with Dr. Murphy, despite changing insurance 5 times and having been uninsured at times. She and her staff have always worked to make sure that my health and issues are at the forefront of their concerns. She is caring and really knows her patients. On my second visit, she made reference to a joke I had made on my first, three months earlier. That's how well she knows her patients.

LOVE Dr. Murphy! Have been a patient for about 12 years now. She listens and remembers. Very helpful and compassionate. She's not just about medicine, she really cares what's going on with you. She is well educated and continues with training to stay on top of the latest tests, medications, etc. I can't say enough about her, she is truly amazing.

Dr. Amy Murphy is by far the best doctor I have been to in my 40 years of life! She listens to you and remembers what you tell her about yourself. She is extremely knowledgeable. I am a patient who has a lot of reactions to antibotics and other medications. She immediately knows the family certain drugs are in and what to prescribe that will work for you. I have been seeing Dr. Murphy for 6 years now and do not trust my health to anyone but her. I am so confident in her care that she is now seeing my 7 year old son as her patient. And, her bedside manner is exemplary! Dr. Murphy is always cheerful and in a great mood. She knows EXACTLY what to do to treat you and when you leave her office she has the knack for making you feel better. She is very involved with her patients. She has called me herself and has had her nurse call me to see how I am feeling. Most doctors do not do that.I recommend Dr. Amy Murphy for anyone seeking an EXCEPTIONAL CARING doctor!

Dr. Amy Murphy is a superior physician! She not only cares about her patients and treats them with the utmost attention and respect but she is also highly educated and knows EXACTLY how to treat the symptoms of her patients. Dr. Murphy is the ONLY doctor I will go to when I am ill.
