Dr. Amy Elaine Newburger, MD

Of all the doctors I've seen through the last six decades, (and that's been unfortunately a LOT due to multiple, serious medical conditions), Dr. Newburger ranks at the very apex. She checks off 5 stars across every single category and goes so far beyond being just being a "nice person" or "good doctor". For those who've deducted stars because of scheduling, those are made by staff and she has nothing to do with that. Yes, it's tough to get an appointment, but that's only because she's so much in demand. I've had many skin cancers so I need to be checked on a continual basis so she's not someone I've seen just a few times. I've been her patient for over 30 years now & I'd rate her 10 stars if I could!

Difficult to make timely appointments. I question her dedication to patients needs.

It would appear that it now is normal practice for Dr. Newburger to CANCEL appointments, mostly at the last moment. Her WESTMED staff is uncaring, unresponsive, and about the worst staff I have ever had to deal with on any basis. Avoid this practice!!

Great atmosphere, great doctors, they treat the whole person!! Dermatology is more than skin deep at DCW.

She addreses your needs in a thoughtful manner and takes time to answer questions. Her experience is evident in the way she treats your problems.

She is willing to spend time on your examinationa answer all questions. An excellent doctor.

Used to be good not now all she cares about is MONEY.

thoughtful and in depth analysis of my long term skin problems...she was able to figure out the cause of more than two decades of rashes and clear them up within three visits. and i am still clear after 6 months, without needing any medications.
