I would like to thank you for the care you have given me. From the moment I first reached out to your office a kind hand was extended to me. In this busy world of the hustle and bustle of getting quick answers and results, you sat down with me and just listened to me. Questions were asked in such a personal and gentle manner it was like talking with an old friend. That feeling never left each and every visit I have had has always felt like that. When I reached out to you I was in pretty bad shape. My list of health problems was quite long but as I was talking with Dr.Norman she did not seem surprised by any of my symptoms. Dr. Norman took the time to listen to me and she carefully explained how she could help with my TMJ. As we started down the path some of the strategies started to work, I was amazed. I heard, from an early age, that I had "bad teeth" and, based on the time I spent at the dentist's office, I knew it had to be true. But no more! It's wonderful to know that Amy, and all the caring folks who work here, are doing everything possible to keep me and my teeth whole and healthy. And I LOVE the nitrous!

Five years ago I was at a Rotary meeting and Dr. Norman could tell I was in pain. I let her know that I had been suffering with jaw issues for almost ten years and it had gotten so bad that it now affected my daily life. I speak for a living and now I couldn't speak for more than an hour without having to rest. My face was sore, my mouth was sore, and my jaw was beyond sore. Dr. Norman said "come see me" - so I did. In a few appointments I was fitted with an adjustment guard for my jaw and wore it day and night for about 9 months - then I was able to move onto the next step which was a guard only at night. I cannot tell you what a difference these appliances have made. I will NEVER go without sleeping in my mouthguard and I guard it with my life! My symptoms are SO MUCH less than they used to be - I will always have some jaw issues due to the damage done to my muscles and discs for so many years, but I can now eat without pain, don't have headaches and face soreness all day -… and I can sleep through the night! I came to see Dr. Amy and her wonderful team as the result of the symptoms of TMJ and Trigeminal Neuralgia. I had suffered from headaches and severe jaw pain for the past 3 years and the only way the pain could be controlled was by use of medication that left me light headed, fatigued and unfocused. I put up with that due to the severity of nerve pain. At times this pain was unbearable and dehabilitating. My doctor and dentist were unable to offer or suggest a long term solution. A night guard did not work. Biofeedback for the pain provided unsuccessful. For this reason I turned as a last resort to Dr. Amy Norman. I had seen that she had won the Best Dentist of Western Washington by King 5 Evening Magazine. I recalled seeing the episode several years ago where she won her first \"Best Of\" award and also remembered that she had experienced excellent results in the treatment TMJ. That was before I was experiencing my problems but I did remember it for some reason that… episode. I decided to contact them. To make a long story short, Dr. Amy has given me my life back. Through extensive and comprehensive diagnostic testing they made a dental appliance for me that reposioned my jaw and removed the pressure from the jaw and the nerves. Within a few days of beginning to use the appliance, I was pain free, off of the medication and I was able to begin my life again. Dr. Amy, Al, Judy and rest of the team are consummate professions and have grown to be friends. They look at their clients as human beings in need of help and respond compassionately in doing so. I have been coming to this office for over 25 years and I have constantly received excellent care. I have always been treated fairly and very professionally. I can remember one instance where I was ready to head out for a trip and I broke a tooth. I called their office and was treated the very same day, after hours. The tooth was repaired and I was able to keep my plans and head out of town the next day. I would strongly recommend Dr.Norman to anyone looking for excellent customer service and dental care.

Dr. Norman and her Dream Team are a dream come true. I started seeing Dr. Norman in 2008 with the "hope" that I would find relief from TMJ pain. 7 months into my treatment I was pain free and 5 years later I remain stable! I can't begin to say enough about the gifts Amy Norman and her Dream Team have given me. I initially went to Amy because the integrity of my smile was starting to diminish and I knew from her reputation that she was the person to see. What I didn't realize was that she would rid me of my chronic headaches and neck pain as well. Amy changed my life. Because of the complexity of my situation, I became a "regular" at her office as she realigned my bite, preparing me for my veneers and freeing me of my chronic pain. After Amy did her initial assessment, I still remember her asking me "how do you function?' I didn't think there was any other option. I had quit mentioning my pain years prior and just pushed through it. To have Amy acknowledge and understand what I had been going through stopped me in my tracks and filled me with emotion. I knew I was in compassionate and expert hands and I have been pain free, wearing a beautiful smile, for two years. But it doesn't stop there. My 13 year… old son struggles with his dental health as well. I asked Amy if she would see him so I could figure out what to do. I had explored many avenues trying to remedy his situation and I was at a loss. I felt helpless as a mom. Part of his dental health struggle is genetic, but also because he is a "mouth-breather". The situation was layered. Amy saw my son, immediately understood what he was experiencing and mapped out a plan of action. And of course with Amy, it doesn't stop there. She asked if she could share my son's case with a panel that she belongs to which consists of specialists throughout the country. Her recommendation was confirmed and a weight was lifted off my shoulders when she said "this is what I would do for my child". Because Amy is top-notch, she is surrounded by a stellar team and has created a culture of impeccable customer service and professionalism, while fostering an environment that is warm and personal. I came to Dr. Norman with pain in my jaw, back, neck & ears. With the measurements she took, Dr. Norman was able to fit me with an orthotic devise that relieved my pain. As the weeks went on, I noiced my headaches and neck pain were gone. I'm looking forward to the next phase of treatment, a permanent solution, and being pain free from now on.

I was pleasantly greeted, asked for my requirements and professionally as well as personally treated EXTREMELY well. My blood pressure was always off the charts when going to previous dentists. to my dentist Dr. Amy Norman! I had a dental emergency based on an intemperate chomp upon a corn chip resulting in the fracturing of my temporary crown. Less than an hour later I'm in Amy's chair, nitrous oxide flowing, a brand new crown being installed.Trust me. If you don't love, love,love your dentist consider switching.
