Dr. Amy Kathryn Pearson, MD

Dr Pearson is a great Dr. She helped me with my pain so I was able to continue working after 2 failed back surgeries. The patients that are complaining about her are probably the ones she refused to give narcotics to. Very caring and very careful with what she prescribed.

I for one am so devastated that such an outstanding physician such as Dr.Pearson could end up being on the end what I believe to be a witch hunt for any MD. who prescribes narcotics! I personally sat in the waiting room of her practice for over nine years as my husband was her patient. He went from lying in bed for two years screaming in pain (how many wives/caregivers could handle that for 2 years?), to a walking, functioning husband who even began to do some remodeling of our home that we had planned before the assault that led to the back injuries that he suffered. Right before Dr. Pearson was arrested, me, my husband and Dr.Pearson developed a plan that would stabilize his back, and then we planned the process of weaning him off his meds. We had come so far and made so much progress and we were ecstatic for the near future! Now, all of those hopes have been dashed. And for what? An opioid epidemic? What about the alcohol abuse epidemic? Smoking epidemic? For nine years of sitting… in the waiting room, I was privileged to meet and talk with many of Dr. Pearson's patients. I met old and young people, soldiers from the war who were missing arms, legs, had suffered traumatic head injuries. I met old and young and in between ages patients who were injured in car wrecks, accidents at work, or who were suffering from cancer. None of these people were drug seekers or "faking" illnesses to get narcotics. No-Dr.Pearson was much too intelligent and savvy and dedicated to put up with such nonsense. My husband is now back in bed, in extreme pain, and I am still trying to find him the medical help he needs to survive. Thank you for listening.

I was a patient of this woman. My appointments, no matter the time, were always delayed by 45 mins to an hour. My first appointment she prescribed narcotic pain meds but i refused. I’m happy with the provider i have now and even if she is allowed to practice again after her arrest I wouldn’t go to her office.

I was in a lot of pain and after several months of trying all kinds of thing to help, none of them did. Dr Pearson put an implanted pain pump in my stomach and it has been a life saver.

I am sorry that this "paperwork glitch" could ruin the reputation and career of what has been the best Pain Management Doctor I have ever known. I was part of her practice for over ten years and would have happily continued. When I came to see her I was taking 12 different medications. Most of were prescribed to help with the side effects of other drugs prescribed! I asked her to help me to find a way to help my pain without taking all of these medicines daily. She did. I went from 12 to 5 medications within a few visits and found the right medication for my pain as well. She really knows her business. I would hate to see others lose her help in the future as well as myself. I wish her much good luck in all this.

She was the best pain management doctor she took the time to listen to pain problems.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Pearson’s for about 13 years. She has always had my health at the foremost of her priority. She has always had integrity. It seems as though all the comments I’ve read have been very negative. I never had these experiences in her office. She always did everything she could possibly do for me. Radio frequency treatments to general overall health. I hope she can get this mess cleared soon as I would welcome her being my physician again. God Bless Dr Pearson and good luck. I’ve heard several stories but all have pretty much come back that you did nothing wrong other than counting on someone else to take care of your administrative responsablities. It’s a shame that no corporate people were arrested as it seems to me from what I’ve heard that they were the real problem here. Look forward to you being my doctor again. After moving from Illinois where multiple pain Drs told me it was not their job to find the cause of my pain, that there job was to prescribe medicine The first thing Dr Pearson said to me was that she would do everything she could to find the cause of the problem to see if that could be fixed so that i could get off of a medicine regiment. She is still working with us to try to find to find that solution.

She is an ethical Dr. and would never do anything knowingly and deliberately to hurt her reputation or that would affect the care of her patients. She has been taking care of me for about 10 years or longer. She has been in compliance and expects her patients to follow those the rules as well. If you didn't comply with the rules then she would tell you to find another Dr. She treats so many veterans with servere issues. This mess had something to do with the Company that she worked under. She was trying to separate from them. I pray she can get through this. I will not hesitate to continue my pain management with her.

Dr. Pearson is a very good doctor. I have been seeing her for 12 years. She actually cared about you. She would always tell you about new procedures that could help with your condition. She never just gave you medicine because you wanted it. She prescribed the necessary medicine to help with your pain. I can not believe what they are saying about her. Now after paying 150 to consultants and pain management in the Brunswick area will not even help you with your prescription but they took my money. Dr. Pearson was separting herself from them. They told me it was a technical problem. I believe they are behind this mess.
