Dr. Amy Marie Phillips, MD

Avoid Dr. Amy Philips, especially if you are Black and visibly Muslim. She is extremely condescending and dismissive. After I expressed my frustrations, she had the audacity to ask me if I knew what “dismissive” meant. I graduated from an Ivy League with a double major in the social sciences while on the pre-med track, I know what dismissive means. A patient shouldn’t have to have an Ivy league degree, a background in medicine or even know what dismissive means to be treated with basic respect. Her response speaks not only to her lack of professionalism but the troubling standards of medical staff at this hospital. To make everything worse, her nurse Morgan was an outright bully. Please seek treatment elsewhere and keep an eye on its providers who are a lawsuit waiting to happen.
