Dr. Amy Carolyn Rauchway, DO

Dr. Brushway is always thorough person. I give her my list of questions and we go through it together. She asked a lot of her own questions. She gave me options for continued treat and her preference, however allowed me to make my own decisions so long as it was not harmful to me.I am very very sad to hear that she has left MS clinic

Referred first visit was good seem compassionate and helpful. Next visit try to gather all simptoms. To try to get the help . Became agitated. When I started to tell about my new and ongoing problems. Denied thing as I told them. . Felt like a hypochondriac. Don’t know if I should go back . Or find a doctor that might listen. Really don’t know if I getting the right help . Some symptoms are better other are worse. Wish I could get some answers

Dr Rauchway is my physician. I have had MS for 22 years and at age seventy I walk with a walker and live independently in an apartment complex for seniors. My medications are effective in treating my symptoms. Visits in the office are always pleasant and informative in understanding my health needs.

Poor communication skills - is not an active listener. Dr. Rauchway rudely cuts you off when you are trying to explain things to her. This is not a doctor I would recommend.

Used fear tactics to bully me into taking medication that was not effective and had worse side effects, did not listen when I complained of side effects and worries regarding the medication. Refused to even consider switching me to a different medication (was on Copaxone shots, however low body fat meant I had nowhere "safe" to inject, actually had shots leak out due to lack of "safe" injection sites) and flat-out ignored my opinion. Had to switch to a different doctor just to have someone actually listen to me.

After waiting 1 1/2 hrs after y appointment time to see hr she didn't even apologize nor say "hello" when entering the room. After the first visit her office called twic to reshedule my second visit. I have, however, received 3 requests in the mail to donate to their clinic for all the charitable work the clinc does.

I really like seeing Dr Rauchway. She is so nice and knowledgable. However her office staff is another story. You cant get a call back from the nurse, the pharamcy doesnt get calls back for weeks, and even colleaugues cant get anywhere with the office
