Dr. Amy De Anne Sarver, MD

I have seen Dr Sarver for years. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and explains things where I can understand. I never feel rushed, and she always takes time to explain things so I can understand. The staff is friendly, kind, and always helpful. I have, and will continue to recommend her to my family and friends. Dr Sarver is the best!

Amazing doctor and excellent staff. Very professional and caring with a beautiful, clean office. Dr Sarver has an excellent bedside manner and always explains everything so well. The staff is great and always lets me know when my test results will be ready, when I need to come back, etc. My whole family sees and loves Dr Sarver!

She does not listen. She is very judgmental when it comes to personal decisions about tests. If you do not wish to preform a test, she try’s to talk over you and push you to do it even when you disagree throughly. She made me feel small, uncomfortable, and that my beliefs were beneath her. I will be looking for a new OBGYN.

Dr. Sarver has been my OBGYN for 7 years. Through prenatal care and delivery of my two children (5 years apart,) to annual visits; she's always thoughtful in her approach, professional, and kind.

I was horribly disappointed. She didn't listen and was rushing. I needed a reg yearly pap. I was charged for a pap plus tests for gohnerea and chlamydia. .????? The bill was $600! She never asked if I would like those tests done or if I have been tested for them before. I have endometriosis. I repetatively told her that and that my symptoms of pain were from it. Oh and I have been married for 10 years! She chose to run these tests without my permission, consent or knowledge! I had insurance but it did not cover these tests. I guess she figures that if you have insurance that she can run whatever tests she wants. Good money for her. Anyway, I asked why she did such a thing and I was told that she does this for every woman automatically 35 and older. I am 32! I was then told that she did these because of the pain I live with. Which I told her in the office visit was from my endometriosis! Beware!

I have been going to her since 2007 and absolutely love, love, love her..she delivered my daughter in 2007 and have handled all my female needs since then...she has always been friendly, professional, courteous, concerned, and patient. I would recommend her to anyone and I am very selective and believe in giving credit where credit is due...

I rarely comment or take the time to leave a response, but I was shocked by one the comments made that I couldn't NOT respond. Coming from a larger city to Bentonville, I was anxious about finding an equivalent level of medical professionals in the area; my standards were set extremely high after having Rush Physicians take care of me and my health. A girlfriend referred me to Dr.Sarver after finding out I was pregnant which was confirmed by taking 10 pregnancy tests and qualitative/quantitative lab draws at my Primary Care Physician's office. I was able to see Dr.Sarver that same week with a notebook of questions! She spent time with me that first visit to patiently answer each of my questions and made sure my husband and I understood. When I was measuring small, Dr.Sarver immediately called the Ultra-Sound technicians and stated that she was bringing someone to them. She walked me down to the office and then had Connie, her fabulous nurse, call me with results about three hours… later. Every visit Dr.Sarver approached me with a calm, firm, and veracious manner; this helped to calm and reassure me. I can not thank her enough for bringing my two children into this world safely!!! I know Dr. Sarver will not know the lives she has touched this side of eternity!Now to respond to the "prompt" of leaving this review, if a person does not mesh with a doctor.....logical thinking says find a new one; this is why numerous and successful doctors exist in the same field! Nor is it appropriate to link a preference for pt/Dr relationship to character of a person. I think by doing so shows ignorance and knowledge deficit.

Dr Sarver did my hysterectomy in April. I went home the next day. I went by work on the 3rd day and everyone commented on how I didn't even look or act like I had a complete hyterectomy. I feel better than I have in a long time. I was able to go back to work withing 2 weeks. Dr Sarver was very attentive during and after my procedure. Thank you Dr Sarver for making me feel like a new person.
