Dr. Amy Eleanor Schmidt, MD

Dr. Schmidt is AMAZING! She kept me calm, worry free yet informed my entire pregnancy, with twins. I would absolutely never go to anyone else. She made everything so easy and stress free. She never weighed me down with anything that wasn’t a concern. She was phenomenal with their delivery. Great GYNO. Same attributes here as well.

2nd pregnancy so I know somewhat what to expect. Clinic opened late, met with finacial counselor first then went in for ultrasound. Ultrasound lady sat chit chatting outside door for 15 minutes while I waited with no bottoms on, then no baby found on ultrasound. Dr. Schmidt came in and spent about 5 minutes with me and told me I would miscarry but need second ultrasound. Super frustrating trying to schedule second ultrasound as Dr on vacation so was told to do it a week later but soonest they could fit me in was 2 weeks. I switched doctors.

Dr. misdiagnosed me when I had a very serious medical issue going on.

Dr. Schmidt did not meet my expectations going through pregnancy for the first time. She will answer questions if you ask but she is not forthcoming with helpful information. I overall felt frustrated by the experience. We were not on the same page when delivery came. I thought about requesting a Dr. change at 30 weeks and regret not doing that.

Dr. Schmdt and her nurse seem uncaring and slightly judgemental. I also never received any details about my condition like what it was, how it happened, what I can do to prevent it in the future, etc. Also there was no mention of the current status of my on-going condition. Maybe they are different for expecting mothers, I don't know. The other staff are friendly, funny, and explained things; the scheduling lady and the ultrasound tech were both great.

Great care giver! She cares! And works with you!

Dr Schmidt is fantastic! I wouldn't have wanted any other doctor to be there throughout my pregnancy or for the birth of my baby. She was kind, listened to my concerns and questions, and helped me through a beautiful experience. She and her awesone nurse will definitely be a part of any future OB/GYN care that I need!
