Dr. Amy Michele Siegel

This doctor told me I had multiple STDs and left me feeling suicidal. I was only 19 at the time and thought I would never have a normal relationship or a normal life. In addition, during the exam, she shoved the speculum so hard and fast into me. It was barbaric ... Thanks to a second and third opinion, I was assured that I had NO STDs whatsoever. This lady seems to have had a vendetta against a lot of young women. It seemed that she went out of her way to make you feel ashamed of yourself. After reading all the other reviews on this site and others and comparing to my own experience, this doctor should have been sued for malpractice in my opinion. I hope she isn’t practicing in California, as I heard that she relocated there. Scary to know that there are doctors out there like this ...

I'm not sure who the latest two reviews are for. I happened to need a doctor and found Dr. Siegel, I had been going to her for many many years and loved her. However, Dr. Siegel moved out of NJ to the west coast back in 2014 so I don't imagine the reveiws from 2015 could be the same person. The doctor I went to was located in Paramus, was always punctual and professional as was her staff. While I understand people have different opinions, I don't ever recall having a bad expereince with her. No harsh words, always had a gown, etc. I just wish she would move back so I can continue to go to her.

WORST doctor ever. I used to self harm, havent in over 2 years, i have scars on my thighs. I went to her twice, and both times told me about someones kid that she knew that was cutting for attension... Made me feel super uncomfortable and hurt my feelings. Very judgemental! Extremely nosey! Asked to many questions that had nothing to do with my reason for the visit. I already lived through my past, i dont need to be reminded of it. No bedside manner at all. The visit seemed very rushed and when i asked a question she made me feel like i was a "bother" to her. Worst doctors visit i have ever had. Extremely unprofessional.

I am 24 years old. I went to Amy Siegel and had a horrible experience. I went to her concerned about being fertile, when I approached her asking if there were any tests to help ease my worry she rudely told me that I was too 'young' to be worrying about it and she completely denied running tests. My sister also went to her and got reprimanded for not wanting to go on the pill. I was very upset i thought doctors were suppose to help. She was the worst gyno I would never recommend her to anyone. Plain and simple she was a complete b****! Do not go

I am somewhat concerned while I am reading negative reviews about Dr. Siegel. Is this the same doctor? My normal doctor was on maternity leave when I was pregnant, so I started to see Dr. Amy. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. When I went into labor Dr. Amy was the doctor on call. I had a rough labor (baby wasn't able to descend) which resulted in a c-section. Dr. Amy talked me and my husband through everything. We were very greatful for her.I am know pregnant with my second baby and I will have Dr. Amy deliver.

Dr. Siegel was with another doctor when I was pregnant with my daughter and started seeing me during my pregnancy. I felt at ease with her because she just had a baby herself 5 months prior so she was easy to talk to and ask questions. She also delivered my daughter with the supervision of the other doctor. It was a super smooth and easy experience that even my husband commented on her bedside manner and how professional and gentle she was handling the baby. When she left that practice I was disappointed until a few years later that I started working again and had a new insurance I searched for a doctor near my place of work and who did I find just minutes away? Dr. Siegel who had her own practice. I called to make an appointment and have been seeing her again since. My daughter is going to be 12 and she still asks "how's my baby?" when I go to see her. Her staff is really nice too and never had a problem getting an appointment or waiting too long in the waiting room,

I made an appointment to see Dr. Seigel through Zoc Docs for this morning. When I arrived i found that Dr. Seigel called and stated that she would not be in today. It would not be so bad, if this was not the second time it happened. A few months ago, I arrived for my appointment to find that she cancelled all of her appointments. It's ashame because I really like Dr. Amy as a doctor. My time is precious and I have to plan to take off for my appointments. So disappointed :(

I have been seeing Dr. Seigel for several years and have never had a problem. I feel she talks to you as if you were her friend. Straight up but kind as well. Her staff has always been nice and helpful as well. She does not overbook so I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. The only thing I don't care for is that you are not given a drape for your legs during exam. You have to request one...no big deal...really!

Dr, Siegel has been my gynecologist for a little over a year and I am completely satisfied with my experiences. She is very dedicated, clear, quick, and efficient in her practice. I referred a close friend because I fully trust Dr. Siegel and her professional opinions. She is very helpful and explains things very clearly so you understand what's going on. She is a great conversationalist and I always feel at ease during an exam.
