Amy Alyssa Simpson-Waid

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with NP Amy Simpson-Waid during my elderly Mother's scheduled appointment. My Mom who is 77 years old and disabled was left feeling abandoned and unsupported after this consultation. We had been in the room with the NP for no more than 10 minutes during which she asked us to call and find out the insurance preferred pharmacy with my Mom's new insurance company. The NP even talked with them on the phone....And all of a sudden, the NP stood up, raised her hands, and declared "I'm done". She then left without any explanation, and without providing the medication or proper follow-up that my Mom needed. This behavior was completely unprofessional, and it left my Mother in a very vulnerable position without the care she was promised. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this NP to anyone, especially those with elderly or disabled family members who require patience and thorough care. It's unacceptable to treat patients this way and it was a deeply unsettling… experience for us.
