Dr. Amy Kathryn Elmore Strachan, MD

Dr. Strachan does not follow up with therapists or other doctors, despite therapist reaching out multiple times. Moreover, she does not utilize the electronic prescription system which is inconvenient when you have to drive all the way out to her office for a written prescription if you are taking a controlled substance. The local pharmacy I fill my prescriptions said many of Dr. Strachan's patients have also complained about this inconvenience factor of only providing written prescriptions, as it takes two trips to the pharmacy to get your meds filled. She is usually at least 10 minutes late to getting you from the waiting room for each appointment. Overall, I have been disappointed with the inconvenience of her prescription system, and lack of professionalism and genuine care for her patients, especially considering how personal psychiatry is.
