Dr. Amy Lynn Swift, MD

I was so sad to find out Dr. Swift is no longer at Einstein Montgomery!!! She is the nicest doctor I’ve ever met. I wanted to write a review so that wherever she goes people will know how wonderful she is. If I find out what hospital she’s gone to, I’ll go there from now on.

Kind and compassionate

LOVE THIS DOCTOR!

Dr. Swift came to see me in the emergency room. First, she apologized for taking so long (her words) when I hadn’t been waiting long at all. She told me she had been going over my chart and cat scan. Ok, so a doctor apologizing for making me wait, even a short time, was like “wow!” For a doctor I’ve never seen before to talk to me about everything in my medical history was like “WOW!” I felt like I mattered, like I was not just another patient in the emergency room. I felt like I was the ONLY patient and she made me feel safe and cared for. I know that sounds weird but she took the time to know me, my history and my diagnosis and then explained everything to me. Every other doctor I’ve ever seen has been in a hurry to get out of the room. She sat down on a stool and talked to me not at me! She is everything a doctor should be! If you have to go to Einstein in E. Norriton, and you need surgery, ask if Dr. Swift can see you. Even if you don’t need surgery, ask if Dr. Swift can see you! … I just wish all doctors could be more like her.

Very kind. EXCELLENT bedside manner. Took time to explain the problem and how to treat it. The hospital was so busy so I didn’t get to a room for several hours. She even checked on me later while I was still in the ER to see how I was doing.

I’ve seen my share of doctors and most have one foot out of the room the entire time they talk to me. Dr. Swift is an exception. I was in the ER and she came into the room with a big smile. That alone was shocking. These days most doctors look at you like you’re wasting their time. Dr. Swift sat down on a stool so she was eye level with me and had a conversation with me. She went over the results of my cat scan with me and the surgery procedure for appendicitis. She asked me if I had any questions. She could see I was nervous about having surgery and she took the time to explain everything. She is professional and extremely personable.

I was in the emergency room at Einstein’s Montgomery hospital with abdominal pain. The emergency doctor told me I had stones in my gallbladder. Dr. Swift came to see me and spent so much time explaining my gallbladder disease and the steps that needed to be taken before my gallbladder could be removed. Everything happened just like she said it would. I have never had a doctor spend so much time with me! It was so nice to feel taken care of! She also has a wonderful sense of humor amd put me at ease.

Compassionate and caring. Took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly and encouraged questions. Excellent bedside manner.
