Really like the treatment

Dr.Tsuchida is outstanding in my opinion.

Excellent Really liked her

She came in, asked a few questions about my digestive problems then ordered an X-ray of upper stomach intestine along with a colonoscopy. She never did a physical exam, nor did she question me further about other health, or medication on the pre information I provided. The prep she ordered was PEG 3350 which contains more than 16 grams of sodium. Normal daily AHA intake recommendations for healthy people is 1.5 grams per day. I am on 2 medications to control high blood pressure, a heart medication and a diuretic (water pill) to keep edema (water retention) in control. I sent a fax (addressed to Dr. Tsuchida herself) explaining my low salt diet, the ease of which I retain water (taking daily meds. late), and requested another prep. As an R.N. who knows how my body would react with this sodium overload, and the risk this prep would put me in - I researched the internet for alternatives before faxing her. When I received a call it was from a clinic LPN, telling me that the salt… would not be absorbed. It would only "irritate the colon". I informed her she was incorrect. She tried to tell me she was not. I asked to speak to the doctor. However, she was the one who phoned back and offered a different prep that has 29 grams of sodiums ! GoLytely prep is worse than the first one! I just cancelled the entire thing because I was still pondering the fact that this doctor had not done a physical exam to rule out masses or a blockage in the intestinal track which would contradict having these types of exams.

Bedside manner was excellent. Not in a rush like most Dr's. Cares!!

It took me 3 times to get the right Dr. The health care system keep trying to pass me off to other Dr's even though I asked for Dr. Amy Tsuchida from the beginning. She has a good repore with health industy around Tacoma and Seattle. 2 thumbs up for her!
