Dr. Amy Twelmi Tun, MD

Dr. Amy Tun was born in Burma and immigrated to the United States as an infant. She was raised in San Francisco. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award.

After experiencing the winters on the East Coast, she was happy to return to the Bay Area to complete her Pediatric internship and residency training at the Children’s Hospital and Research Center Oakland. During her time in residency, she had the pleasure of working with a wonderfully diverse population of patients and realized her passion for primary care.

Dr. Tun feels lucky to have grown up in the Bay Area and having the opportunity to experience the medley of cultures in the area. She is an avid traveler and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
