Amy Vinson, MD, FAAP

Dr. Amy E. Vinson is a pediatric anesthesiologist and hospitalist at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she serves as a Senior Associate in Perioperative Anesthesia within the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine and also practices at Boston Children’s at Waltham. She is an assistant professor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School and is board certified in both anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. Dr. Vinson earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed residency training in pediatrics and anesthesiology, followed by a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she is nationally recognized for her leadership in physician wellness, clinician safety, and burnout prevention initiatives within anesthesiology. Her research and advocacy focus on improving clinician well-being, peer support systems, and creating healthier healthcare work environments …while continuing to provide compassionate, family-centered perioperative care for pediatric patients.
