Dr. Amy Nicole Willcox, DO

I have never had a doctor make me feel so dismissed over concerns I was having in regard to adverse effects I was experiencing over birth control. She suggested referring me to other doctors rather than taking into consideration that I know my body, and did a lot of research on my own to understand the adverse effects I was experiencing. Furthermore, as the visit I had with her was a new patient visit as well as a yearly exam, I have never had a doctor have me undress before even coming into the room to have a brief introduction. I felt completely disrespected having to meet a new person like that. She also gave me a business card to call to check on my own lab results as the office she's currently at functions on a "no news is good news" basis which should never be practiced in a medical setting. The unprofessionalism that was displayed during my appointment with her has most definitely violated any trust I have for medical professionals.

She really listens to you. She treats you like a person not just another patient. She doesn't make you feel like you're beneath her just because she's a doctor. She really cares about what problems you have and is honest and upfront about treatment options.
