Dr. Amy May Yam, MD

Not thorough - handed me to this inept and dishonest Michael S. Erickson (now Head Physician of the Seattle Storm) who falsely accused me of non-compliance with antibiotics and insulin - didn't read my labs - 5 weeks later I developed Sepsis (from the infection that he could have identified and Yam could have informed him about) - I nearly died, lost part of my foot needlessly to amputation and am traumatized still - lost my job, my home, my entire life of Amy May Yam and her cohort Michael Shane Erickson - Swedish Cherry HIll is a mess -- and I would urge everyone to avoid there at any cost.

Really hard to trust anymore.

She read my infection lab the day after I saw her - but informed no one - I only found it AFTER having to undergo an amputation for an infection which they said I did not hvae - but which she recorded in the medical record (but not to me) 5 weeks earlier. Passed me onto a Dr. Michael S. Erickson - who claimed I was non-compliant with anti-biotics I was never prescribed for an infection they said I did not have. Gee, thanks.... I could have easily died.

HIPPA violation

No follow-up, no concern for the patient - hands the patient off to incompetent doctors like Drew Bekins and Michael S. Erickson and Stephen Tilghman.

She accurately diagnosed me - but did zero follow up or proper communication - this led to amputation.

And she was basically useless in the end.

While she was filing her report the day after my visit - ordering me to the ER for multiple nights - she didn't bother to check that literally a couple hundred feet away I was being denied admission by Dr. Stephen Tilghman and Dr. Marie Hennelly - further more she handed me off to the utterly feckless Dr. Michael S. Erickson - just ridiculous. I barely lived thru it all.

Showed a real lack of judgement in handing me off to the unscrupulous Dr. Michael S. Erickson. Furthermore - after the hospital badly screwed up my admission the first time I would have thought she would have shown some curiosity about the results of the second attempt - if she had looked at all she would have seen that they hadn't bothered to read my labs - and though she ordered me to the ER expecting 3 to 4 nights in the ER - I was in and out in less than 5 hours - not admitted - and on my way - 5 weeks later - to a devestating amputation. Furthermore - no communication from her when I tried to address my concerns about the problems with her clinic and with Swedish in Seattle.

Didn't follow thru, why?
