I appreciate this chance to introduce myself to you. I am Dr Ana Auld and I joined Dr. Thompson’s office in July of 2007.  My actual dental career started in my homeland of Brazil. I was born and raised in Sao Paulo Brazil and that is where my parents and sister still reside. I first graduated from Dental School in Brazil in 1995 and then volunteered as a Dental Practitioner with Rotary International for one year prior to my admission into the UMKC Dental School here in the United States. Upon graduation from the UMKC Dental College here in Kansas City, I took my first job as a dentist here in the US at a clinic in Kansas City Kansas. I worked two years in Kansas City before joining Dr. Thompson here in Ottawa July of 2007.  I am very happy to have found an office that values the quality of care more than the volume of patients that it sees. I have great appreciation for the care, attention, and time that this office gives to its patients as well at to each staff …member. This represents the family atmosphere that I was searching for and that now I can appreciate. I now have my full US citizenship and have chosen to live in Ottawa.  I enjoy this area immensely.  It is such a pleasant change from the large city where I was raised, and the connections that I have made through my association with Dr. Thompson office have given me the home away from home that I have desired.  I look forward to raising my daughter here and it is my honest hope to be a service for you and your family. We have a wonderful family here and I do hope that you will come in to meet all of us. It is our hope to have the chance to meet with you. We promise to work very hard to earn your confidence and respect.

My greatest involvement is in raising my daughter. I have also been very busy this past year in organizing my move from Gardner into Ottawa.  I have enjoyed the visits from both of my parents during my transition into Ottawa, and I also have had the chance to visit Brazil a couple times since I started working with Dr. Thompson. It is nice to be close to Kansas City and Lawrence and I look forward to visiting many areas of Kansas that I have not yet had a chance to see. This opportunity that I now have to raise my daughter here and to be a part of a growing dental office is exciting for me. I look forward to expanding my associations here and I hope that will include meeting you. I can promise to work very hard to make you happy, and I have the confidence that our work will have that preciseness that you would expect from the very best of dental offices. It is so nice to be a part of this community and to have this chance to present these concepts to you.  I do hope that you will give our office a call.
