Dr. Ana G Cepin, MD

I went to Dr Cepin for a few years and she was great for about 3 years, very warm and pleasant. Then her attitude started changing she became much more matter of fact bordering on indifference plus her schedule changed and she’s only available for 1-2 days a month for a couple hours. Her office staff is rude on the phone and it’s hard to get through. Everything changed for the worse. I decided to switch.

Dr. Cepin is lovely. She is knowledgeable and kind, she has good bedside manner, spends time answering questions, and doesn’t push procedures and tests. However her office staff is HORRIBLE! They are unkind, lacking in compassion and most of all incompetent. They book appointments incorrectly all of the time. They lose paperwork. They don’t follow up or follow through. Because of them I simply can’t see this doctor anymore because each time I do it turns out to be a colossal hassle.

I went in recently for a small issue, and asked a lot of questions. I found her to be exceptionally professional and quite caring.

I went to her to get an IUD. She never volunteered anything about the pros or cons. She only answered direct questions. When my periods came so soon and so heavy after getting the IUD, she only vaguely recommended taking motrin. When I told her it didn't help she asked if I had taken 600mg every 6 hours. She should have told me that in the first place. I'm still trying to get this under control but it's taking so long due to her vague and slow treatment methods. I wouldn't recommend her for anything other then routine check ups. I just don't think she explains things well nor gives you all the information you need.

I went in a few months ago and spoke to her about my concerns- she brushed everything I said off. She barely looks you in the eye, like she's afraid to get too personal- but it doesn't come across as professional or even clinical, more like cold and indifferent. She failed to call me back after test results and the office didn't return my message for lab work.
