Dr. Ana Josephine Kimel, MD

Dr. Ana Josephine Kimel, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NYC and at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, NYC in 2007. The Pediatric Continuity Clinic she worked out of is the Phillips Ambulatory Care Center in lower Manhattan. After graduating from residency training, Dr. Kimel worked as a Pediatric Emergency Room Attending at Long Island College Hospital. She joined Dr. Miranda at Children of Joy Pediatrics in 2009. Dr. Kimel is fluent in English and Spanish. She is the proud mother of a two year old and lives with her husband in New Jersey. She strongly encourages all parents to vaccinate their children fully but is willing to work with parents who desire alternative vaccine schedules and who wish to encompass holistic approaches traditional medicine. Her goal is to help parents raise healthy, happy, self-confident children.
