Dr. Ana Elizabeth Monterrosa, MD

Been a patient of hers for years. She has literally helped me so much not only with my health but has gone out of her way to help me thru my disability process. Love the staff and I feel safe and not pressured in the environment.

BEWARE This person barely speaks any English, makes little to no eye contact, and worst still, their office would make mistakes like lie to you about the costs and promise it's on them because they make a mistake, then bill you the full amount regardless, even if they used the initial low cost to get you to agree to come. This entire place is a complete fraud, relying on the disabilities of mentally ill individuals to earn a buck. No sympathy or responsibility from management. Currently perusing a fraud complaint with them. 0/5

Be warned, do NOT go to this doctor. I had the worst experience of any doctor visit with Dr Monterrosa and staff. I was referred to her by my primary care doc as I have mild chronic depression. On my second visit they surprise me by saying a urine test is required for drug screening for all patients (over 20 years of seeing therapists and psychiatrists I have never had this required). I don't use any recreational drugs so complied but explained my insurance didn't pay for it and I asked if I will be charged. I was told not to worry by the nurse and I didn't until I received a bill for $405 from the lab they sent it to! Thanks a lot! Another weird thing they did was count my medication on each visit to see if I was taking it. While these checks may be needed in certain cases it feels like overkill for mild depression. I like a doctor that trusts me and treats me with respect. So overall, I definitely will not be going back and hope you avoid this practice as well.

Does not care about patients. Lies when confronted with complaints. Always there for an hour waiting. Always cuts sessions short. Once when I cried about an emotional topic in our session, she looked at her clock and asked when I'd be done crying. I would never recommend this woman. She must be in it for the money, because she certainly isn't here to help people.

This Doctor is really bad and I would suggest you stay away from her at all costs, her staff Lynn and Sheika are terrible and rude and this Doctor needs to retire! She has no real concern over the patients she sees.

She is one of the best I have seen. I love her personality, and she is very up front and honest. She doesn't try to please you, she says what you need to hear, that is how you are going to heal.
