I am originally from Bogota, Colombia, I have been in working in psychiatry for the past 17 years and I love it. Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be a physician. I knew psychiatry was my call after my practice as a primary care physician and I realized how much of helping patients achieve wellness had to do with listening to their concerns. I tried to understand not only the physical problems they faced, but to understand their particular biopsychosocial situation.
