have been with Dr Rivas for almost 10 years & wouldn"t tray her for the world

Not quite sure how this person made it this far in her career as instead of offering any help, comfort, ideas on how to cope with a difficult life situation, she decided that the best method was to make me suffer, instill fear, suggest strong drugs, act in a visibly condescending way, be judgmental, and pretty much beat me down further. I lasted 4 sessions because she said that it was supposed to hurt at the beginning but by session 9-10 I would be doing great. But there's a difference between hurting because you are healing an infected wound, and hurting because you are causing new wounds. So if you want someone to tell you that your newborn baby will probably become an alcoholic because alcoholism is hereditary and his father likes to go out and drinks too much , please contact this person (it is in fact hereditary, but really? is this what you tell a new mom who's battling PPD?). Otherwise, run away fast!!

I had to wait for 1 hour to see the Dr. Rivas Her secretary treated me very disrespectfully and when I complained about the waiting time, she said that I should reschedule instead. I didn't feel like the Dr cared about anything about saying and didn't give me any recommendation or suggestion in the 40 min section.I do not recommend this Dr to anyone.

This Doctor is very unprofessional , she was texting on her cell while I spoke to her . Unkind and unprofessional
