Dr. Ana Trevino Sauceda, MD

Treated at same facility with Dermatologist Sauceda after Dermatologist Gonzales retired. Dr Sauceda was excellent during the times I was treated (couple years) unfortunately my yearly appointment was upcoming & I called in to see if an earlier visit was possible but they advised none. Then weeks later before my yearly appointment their office personnel called me to state they have had no coverage under my insurance carrier but never realized until now. I tried asking if & when they expected to get coverage again & in the meantime let me know what a walk in charge would be until they get coverage back.... but they just kept bouncing me around to other administrators having to repeat myself over again (30minutes) until I just asked to leave a message for the doctor because it seems there administration is running customers away because they had no answers to any questions nor other possible referral Dr until Dr Sauceda got coverage again. Literally was forced to find another… Dermatologist who wasn't as thorough as Dr Sauceda. My iPhone calendar reminded me of my Dr Sauceda's annual appointment they canceled, so I decided to call Dr Sauceda'a office again to see if they found out any further info, instead I got the same administrative run around passing me up the ladder to a lady who just seemed to be reading what transpired the last time they cancelled my appointment. I mentioned I was calling to see if they knew any more info on updating their carriers coverage or walk in price but nobody seemed to know anything except what transpired in the past. So I left another message again for Dr Sauceda. A week later I get a call from their office chief administrator, he identified as Dr Sauceda's husband. I told him the same scenario thinking he & the Dr might want to know what their administrations like from a customers perspective but he mentions Dr Sauceda's kept from the administrative details to concentrate on medicine. I asked the same past questions & he had nothing new to offer & didn't mention a walk in price. I mentioned it didn't seem they're accommodating customers concerns & mentioned I'm used to speaking with my Doctor. Instead I realized he likely didn't want to let his wife Dermatologist known his administrative oversight doesn't seem competent sheltering good Dr's from their administration failures running away patients. Evidently, he didn't want to listen to any customers poor administrative experience & hung up on me! Wow. Get this... he calls me back a few days later & identified himself where I said " your the guy that hung up on me & why calling customers back after his abuse. I mentioned I didn't want to speak again where he finally got to squeeze in that he found out they will be getting coverage back in a few more weeks... I mentioned ... see how easy our last conversation could have been with professionalism instead he hung up on me... I mentioned because of his past lacking performance on Customerservice & hanging up on me that unfortunately I wouldn't be visiting Dr Sauceda again ... well needless to say, he hangs up on me again... consistent unsympathetic unprofessionalism coming from the good Dr's Administrative nightmare. These ratings are very important being significant enough for customers to spend time to share their experiences with others. Maybe it's just me but after reviewing the other poor ratings I think most could assume it may not be the good Dr's fault it's poor Administration in my situation. Good luck all.

Competent, thorough, and compassionate delivery of medical care.

I had a skin biopsy on a suspicious spot on my chest, and a cyst removed from my eyelid. I was very pleased that I got a response within 2 days that the biopsy was benign, when I thought it would take 2 weeks. I'm also happy that the cyst is gone! There was minimal pain with both procedures.

Very good doctor. Smart and efficient. Very personable with her patients. Please be advised that she no longer is in Boerne and practices near Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio.

My son had an acne issue that was cleared up with the help of Dr. Sauceda. She is great. When I called to request a prescription refill I spoke with the nurse LeAnn who said they can refill one time and then we needed another appointment. I was fine with that. Later that evening I went to pick up the prescription and it was not there. LeAnn had forgotten to call it in. No biggie, it happens.I called the next day to tell them they forgot to call it in and was told they had no record of this. The doc and LeAnn were not there to verify, so I was relying on the memory of the receptionist. Luckily she remembered me. But the rudeness of the other docs nurse (Priscilla) and the office manager was beyond acceptable. At one point they told me I was taking up too much of their time (because I asked to speak to receptionist to see if she could verify the refill) I was interrupted multiple times and hung up so upset I couldn't believe what had just happened.I wasn't angry that they… forgot to call it in, even though I took 1/2 hour out of my day to go get it. I realize this kind of thing happens. But to be told my 8 minute phone call was "taking too much of their time" is beyond offensive. What about my time? What about the hassle of not having the prescription available as promised? They have some serious power-trip ego problems and I'm sorry to say I will be finding a new doc in order to avoid future interactions with these people. Please spare yourself the stress.

She is very caring and always lets you know what and why she is doing or prescribing something .Gives good detail about condition and recommends products effectively
