I saw Dr Morales when she was with Summa, I will now drive an hour to continue to see her for my arthritis. She is a great doctor. Once you find a great doctor, you stick with them and follow them to their new locations!

Not only did this physician want to diagnose me incorrectly before reading my chart with an autoimmune disease I do not have, she ordered blood work out of network without informing me that it would incur appx. $2,000 in lab charges which would've been 100% covered under my plan had it been done through the Summa lab.

I will not try to see Dr. Morales. I had been referred by my primary, because of multiple health issues and a 3 year journey of trying to figure out the whole picture of what’s going on with me medically. Alas, since I wasn’t diagnosed with anything she treats she canceled my appointment for this coming Friday. My Cardiologist 3 years ago didn’t think anything Cardio was going on and low and behold I actually have a few cardio things going on. I will be searching for another Rheumatologist.

Dr. Morales-Mena spent alot of time listening to me. After intently listening, she addressed each and every symptom as well as ordering a plethera of tests and bloodwork for an accurate diagnosis. For the first time since my body betrayed me, I felt heard and understood. After starting me on a round of medications, she ordered folllow-up bloodwork to make sure the medication would work for me in allieviating my pain and symptoms. She is aware of the fact that not all insurances cover all medications and back check/fact check what medications will work for me and my insurance company. Her listening skills and bedside manner are a rare commodity. Having autoimmune disorders and/or rheumatological issues is a life-long problem. Knowing that I have a rheumatologist that is in tune with her specialty and her patients means the world to me. You and your rheumatologist will need to navigate a long-term care plan specific to your needs. Because rheumatological issues require life-long care, it… is important to find a relateable, knowledgeable doctor for this long-term relationship. I would highly recommend Dr Annabelle Morales-Mena to anyone. I walked in her office full of doubt, dread and hopelessness. A month later now, I feel hopeful and confident. She has changed my quality of life by making an informed diagnosis, treating my symptoms and will follow-up. Thank you, Dr. Morales. 5 stars, plus!!!

The first time that I met with Dr. Morales, she made sure to spend a lot of time with me gathering information about my symptoms. She took the time to listen and then ordered tests. She went over the test results with me at the next visit and explained my diagnosis. She is a caring doctor and I would highly recommend her.
