Dr. Anais Aurora Badia, DO

Ordered lab tests costing $1685.86. Medicare paid $185.39

I dealt with an oozing MOHs surgery on the back of my calf for 3.5 months. The sutures did not hold (not my previous dermatologists fault as my skin is thin and tight). I reappointed to his practice after two months of not healing. The nurse took a photo and said it was healing but would continue to do so slowly. She showed the photo to the doctor. I moved to SW FL to enjoy the outdoors. In addition to no beach, no pool or no pedicures for 6 months, I was referred to Dr. Badia. She prescribed two different ointments and within one week the 16 weeks deep hole in my leg is 95% better. Dr. Badia’s entire team cares deeply for patients and their satisfaction. I highly recommend her if you are tired of endless biopsies and surgeries when less invasive procedures on elderly patients is much less painful and less risk of infection, unsightly surgeries and possible loss of limb. I’m all for surgery when totally necessary but sometimes it poses a huge risk.

Assembly line, over bills, over treats

everything is biopsied...they scare you to death if you dont.....p.a. does 90% of the work....very expensive....beware of promises of eyelash extender products and youthful skin products....took me a couple years to find out va has a dermatologist....she wont ever see a dime of my money

I went to this place after I noticed a spot on my face. The doctor immediately jumped to removing the spot on my face and ran out of the room to have her PA do the procedure. Needless to say I now have an atrophic/indented wound on my chin. Dr. Badia initially sent me to Dr. Kim/plastic surgery in town to have this fixed with restylane but as this was temporary I have had to resort to paying a physician to fill in the hole with Bellafill (a semi permanent filler). Little did I know that one visit would change my life. I DO NOT recommend this office AT ALL.

I have been to her three times, and haven't needed to have anything removed. That's always refreshing, because my first Cape Coral dermatologist felt the need to remove things that previous Doctors, and Dr. Badia, said weren't anything to worry about. The staff is great, too. Very friendly and efficient.

It is important to get several diagnosis from board certified specialists. Initially we thought Badia was a dermatologist, skin specialist; however it may have been her husband at the time as we discovered that was not true. Somehow she misdiagnosed melanoma in my husband, denied it and he died a few years ago after many years at cancer clinics, surgeries and treatments from others. I understand she is now a dermatologist although this lists her as a pediatrician.

Saw her once and was referred to again but will not go because of the sarcasm of the staff and general unhelpfulness. She was uninterested in discussing additional possible treatments I wanted done.

Dr Badia knows her dermatology! Thank you for seeing me and for starting me on medicated creams that have finally given me relief!!! Thank you!

I recently had an appt in the Cape Coral location. It was clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and gave me lots of samples. I saw the PA Brandie and she was great. I see the doctor on my next visit, so I will let you know how it goes.
