Dr. Anamary Olga Quiros, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Quiros as a radiologist for your mammogram. Not only is she is an excellent physician and extremely knowledgeable, she is thorough, and meticulous in her examinations. What I value the most is her ability to explain everything clearly, answer my concerns with compassion, and provide reassurance during what is a stressful situation. Her professionalism and care have earned my complete trust. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I’ve been coming to this center for many years for my yearly exams and it is a very comfortable center. The doctor is very thorough in the exams and results.

Unbelievable mistreatment by this staff and doctor while having an MRI guided biopsy. Laid on the MRI table with IV in arm and breast clamped tightly into plates for THREE HOURS while I screamed for help with no communication from staff or physician until they finally called off the biopsy because they "could not get the needle to place of interest and that I would need to find a surgeon and have a surgical biopsy." An already highly stressful and anxious time was made even worse by this gross misconduct - when I asked why I was left in the MRI room alone for THREE HOURS, I was told by this doctor that she "was calling all over town trying to see if anyone could help her understand how to do this biopsy" - all while I lay in extreme pain and fear.... Completely abandoned me - offered me no surgeon names, next steps, nothing.... Most horrendous experience of my life...I will NEVER go back and I will tell everyone I love and care about in the Miami area to avoid this center at all… costs.

I was dumbfounded by how rude Dr. Quiros Mesa was to me today. I don't really know how good of a radiologist she is, but she is terrible in speaking with patients, or at least me. I asked a question and got a condescending soliloquy that just seemed to escalate even though I was agreeing with the substance of what she was saying. She made a nerve-wracking experience much more difficult than necessary. The staff, my technician, and everyone else I encountered at Miami Breast Institute were great and up to the point of meeting Dr. Quiros Mesa, I thought this was a great place.
