Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Thakur completed two years of Surgical Residency one year at New York Medical College and on year at Hahnemann University before deciding that Anesthesia Pain Medicine was his true calling. Dr. Thakur completed a Residency in Anesthesia and a Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Thakur specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients who suffer from suffer from chronic neck and back pain. His expertise includes precision x-ray guided interventional procedures, implantable devices, minimally invasive spine surgery, and medication management.
