Dr. Anat Ben-Shlomo, MD

Brutally unpleasant doctor, much more interested in treating me with contempt because she felt I did not hang my coat properly (really!) than actually helping me. Made me go through numerous expensive, painful tests which sapped already limited energy. Never told me what to expect on tests. When tests showed diagnostically significant results, she seemed indifferent, made a big deal of calling me on phone to tell me I had a pituitary tumor and went on vacation. Another test, she told me lots of patients report the reaction I had, but it does not mean anything (then why do the test?) I work nights and she made me take a number of tests at the wrong time of day for my schedule because she disapproves of anyone who does not wake early morning. For tests taken at correct time, she dismissed the results, for example, fasting blood sugar was high and she dismissed this as irrelevant because she felt the time of day I did the test meant it should not have been a fasting test (if my schedule… were one she approved of), so she just decided it did not count as a fasting test. I've met doctors before who were dismissive of patient suffering, but she is the first who seems angry and contemptuous of patient's for suffering. Tried to see different in-network endocrinologist at Cedars, but they seemed afraid of offending her.

Dr. Ben-Shlomo is a wonderful doctor. I drive 6 hours round trip to see her.

I think Dr. Ben Schlomo is one of the best doctors you have. She's changed my life especially after years of being incorrectly diagnosed.

Anat Ben-Sholomo is great along with her team. Idd recommend her to all I know. Very specialized

Stay clear of this doctor if you are looking to be listened to and not accused of lying about your medical conditions. Doctor has no concern for you and is only interested in helping the next patient in line. No compassion or empathy. Please don't waste your time.

We met doctor Ben Shlomo today and she was really great, took her time to listen to every little detail as insignificant as it may be to the diagnosis. I am looking forward to our next meeting.
