Dr. Anatole Barkan, MD

My husband and I relocated from Queens to Brooklyn 6 years ago. It was very difficult to change our family doctor and we tried different MD. Fortunately our friend recommended Dr. Barkan to us and he became our Primary Care Physician 5 years ago. He is a very knowledgeable, responsible, and friendly doctor and many of his patients consider him a personal friend. In his busy office he is able to give individual attention to every one and always makes himself available in difficult situations. I would recommend Dr. Barkan without reservation.

I saw this doctor on two occasions, and both times I was blown away by his sheer unprofessional and disrespectful attitude. I truly feel that he needs to lose his license and the entire clinic needs to be shut down. The doctors there do NOT wear gloves while examining patients, and have poor hygiene. It is a terrible place, and preys on the poor people who live in the area who do not have others options of where to go for healthcare.
