Dr. Anca Maria Petrascu, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Petrascu's for past 13 years. My husband is also a patient and we are very greatful for how Dr. Petrascu as cared for us. She has alway gone above and beyond to care for us. In 2002 my husband and I decided to get pregnant and during my pregnancy I became very ill. Dr. Petrascu along with my OB doctor were able to diagnose my health problems and I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. In 2004 we decided to have another baby and again I was very ill Dr. Petrascu along with my OB doctor were able to diagnose and I gave birth a beautiful healthy baby girl. 2010 I became very severely ill and had a heart attack Dr. Petrascu went out of her way and came to Kaweah Delta Hospital and admitted me and was able to diagnose the problem and save my life. She never left my side as I had a long road ahead of me before I could be normal again. As of 2012 I have been feeling absolutely wonderful and if it wasn't for this loving extremely smart doctor I would not be here today.… My husband and I are so greatful to have Dr. Petrascu as our Primary health physician. I strongly recommend Dr. Petrascu and yes the wait time in her office as is in many other good doctors office's is worth the time. I rather have a doctor who takes her time with her patients than a doctor who don't care. Thank you so much Doctor Petrascu for being my family doctor. â?¡

I was just looking up Dr. Petrascu's phone number to make a new patient appointment and I'm floored by these reviews. This Dr. saw my dad s few times on rounds in the hospital and was instrumental in diagnosing problems and ordering tests that his regular physician had overlooked for years. My mom was so impressed that she switched to this doctor and recommended her to me. I have my first appointment next week (easy to get appt.) so I hope it's a good one.

I have been in the medical field for 15 years, this is the most unprofessional office I have ever been in. The service is absolutely horrible to the point of being hung up on by office staff. Trying to get medications re-filled is a nightmare as well as referrals to specialist. There are plenty of other good doctors in our area that have professional office staff and actually care about their patients' care.

She is very arrogant.After 5 years of her she on one visit dropped me with a string of crap that I couldnt understand.She didnt refer me or give me a chance to ask why.Now I can not find a doctor in my area .IT is like she put a black spot on my medical records.She isnt worth the time.The wait time for her was an average of 2 hours.

This doctor had been one of the best.She cared and helped.In the blink of an eye it seemed she accused me of lying when I had been in the hospital.And when I saw her last the first thing she asked is " how are you"? I said I feel terrible,when she cut me off and said I always came in with something wrong. Personally I do not visit a doctor for leisure or the company.She had gained my complete confidence and trust and all of a sudden wasn not very nice to me.I have a handful of serious health conditions she knows and had treated .I did try to make all of the referrals she gave now they too have dumped me in the same manner.I am lost hurt without any knowledge or help to have this kind of action questioned legally and or professionally.None of the Doctors will address the 6 years of pain medicines I was prescribed for because of A very questionable back and fibromyalgia and a quadruple heart bypass and sleep apnea and hypertension and diabetes. I am lost.Wheree any one to actually read… this that could help I will be so grateful. Thank you.
