Dr. Ancy Maruthanal, MD

Dr. Maruthanal is an excellent dr for women. I was one of her first patients and am sorry to see her leave. I will miss her in more words than I can say. Best of luck, Dr.

Dr. Maruthanal is one of the sweetest doctors I have met in a LONG list of doctors I have seen over the years. Bedside manner is so important when you're stressed out about your health. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She clearly communicates what is going on and what can be done.

I highly recommend Dr. Maruthanal she is very thorough and caring. She takes time to answer my questions keeps you informed of health issues and has made phone calls after hours to follow up and inform me of result of tests I have taken. Dr. Maruthanal is the best primary care physician I have ever had.

This is the doctor that other doctors go to. My brother-in-law is a cardiologist at NKCH and both him and his wife see Dr. Ancy as their primary care. I met other physicians who also see her. She's so nice and knowledgeable. I looked her credentials up online and she graduated from Georgetown, which is impressive. I trust her judgement, and appreciate her care.

From the get-go this doctor was very unprofessional. I waited 45 minutes even after being early for my appointment. When she finally is able to see me, the doctor is wearing a short right dress that was very inappropriate for a doctor's office setting. She's dressed like she's ready to go to the club. After waiting 45 minutes, she sat in the room, went through my medical history and didn't really let me talk or explain anything. It is very evident that she is in a hurry and quick to get you out. She was maybe in the room with me for 5 minutes after I waited for 45 and the problem I went in for was never addressed. I went in with back pain and she left without looking at my back or addressing my problem. I had to be told by a nurse my appointment was over because I was waiting for her to come back. It was a horrible experience. I do not recommend. Avoid at all costs!!

Dr. Maruthanal is thorough and addresses all of my concerns. She is nice, stylish, and makes you feel comfortable. She accurately diagnosed and treated me. Sometimes there can be a longer wait, but I think it's worth it the wait to see her. I have been to 3 other fantastic doctors before, but Dr. Maruthanal is my favorite because of her engaging and caring personality.

I am a nurse who works at North Kansas City Hospital and I saw Dr. Ancy as a new patient. She is warm and friendly and very approachable. I liked how she listened to me and explained things. Her bedside manners are impeccable. She is not one of those doctors that sees you for 5 minutes and gives you a pill to take. She really focused on the cause of my medical issues and gave me a lot of options to manage them. I like her a lot and highly recommend her.

We were looking for a new doctor for my mother and Dr. Maruthanal was recommended by a family friend who really liked her. Our experience at her clinic was great. She truly listens to you. At one point she showed us pictures of different rashes and what we should watch out for--I never had a physician explain things so well. A week after our appointment she actually called my mom to check in with her and see if she was better. Dr. Maruthanal is smart and a genuinely caring person. My wife and I have both decided to switch to her as our Primary Care Physician.

Dr. Maruthanal is a great Dr! She spent time with me and really addressed my concerns. Would really recommend her to family and friends
