Dr. Andras Fenyves, MD

The title says it all. Great doctor, I have total confidence in him.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Fenyves for years. He listens carefully and is caring and compassionate. I don't mind the wait as much as my husband does but it is worth it. He is a great doctor and person.

Dr. Fenyves is just amazing. He will take care of your medical problem but will also spend time talking about diet, lifestyle and even about history and culture that affect us today. He definitely has a wide perspective on more than just medicine. You will get superb care.

Horrible

The doc is great, he took care of me wehen I got sick the other day. He looked at everyting even tried to get me eat healthier. I took off a star because he criticiced my pot habits, told me it make me problem with my brain. hey everyone smokes a little pot these days. Otherwise he was great, the rash is gone.

I saw Dr F for a general check up and also for a lump on my back, which turned out to be an innocent lipoma. He was reassuring and at the same time thorough. He discovered a problem with my thyroid gland that none of my previous doctors addressed. He explained everything in easily understandable language, even showed some pictures of the problem on the computer. The doctor is very relatable, and down to earth, not the nose up pretentious kind of doctor you see sometimes. I wish more doctors would be like doctor F. I recommended him to my brother and one of my neighbors also.

I will let review simply be the conversation I had with him: Him: He asked me if I needed him to check my groin area. Me: I said no and had made a joke about me being sure I’m male without him checking. And I lightheartedly said, “You know, nowadays you don’t know anymore if someone may be another sex.” (note: I’m an LGBT person) Him: “Ah, yeah. It’s crazy. Do you see what Obama wanted to do? Put these people in bathrooms with little boys and girls? It’s [terrible/disgusting].” (I don’t remember the exact negative word he used.) Later, he asked me if I take psychological pills. Me: “No, I don’t.” Him: “Yeah, you don’t need them. You’re a man.”

Very unprofessional. The first time I met him I came in for an ear infection. I also asked him to look at a healing tattoo of mine that was taking more time to heal than most. He proceeded to tell me that my tattoos looked like bumper stickers on a Porche. I don’t think any doctor should voice their person opinion about any of their patients appearance that has nothing to do with a medical aspect. Strike one. The next time I visited him h tried to change all of my medications. I have been on them for over 10 years and told him I would rather not. He seemed very disturbed by that but I don’t really care. He also talked to me about whether I was planning on getting pregnant soon. Not something a doctor should discuss with a patient who has never once mentioned it and is taking birth control. The third time I saw him will be the last. I came in for a routine STI test although I live with my fiancé we still check ourselves regularly. As soon as I mentioned I also was suffering a UTI he… immediately asked me if I was a leftist. This took me back and I asked him to repeat himself. He told me he is a conservative and that my leftist beliefs are not reality and wanted to talk deeper about my political views. I had already waited an hour to see him and could not believe what I was hearing. I can easily have that conversation about politics but I already don’t care for this man and don’t care about his political beliefs. If I was able to see anyone else in that office besides him with my insurance covering it, I would have. I only wanted him to prescribe my regular medication and routine blood work. I think it’s highly unprofessional for s doctor to voice his personal opinions like that and judge a patient for their’s. I will never visit him again.

the doc is amazing. He listens and cares. He found my enlarged thyroid that my previous PCP missed.
