Dr. Andre T Bobo, MD

My wife tested positive for an infection while pregnant and was being treated through Mercy Health. When the first round of antibiotics did not resolve her symptoms she was rescheduled to meet with doctor Bobo. He made numerous contradicting statements dismissing her symptoms and refusing to conduct any examination, although he stated he would only know if she had an infection by conducting said examinations. He made it very clear he was wanting to dismiss my wife entirely, and specifically stated if she does have an infection then she will just need to miscarry because he is not going to treat her. If you have had a similar experience with this doctor I encourage you to file a formal grievance. He absolutely should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Bobo was excellent and listened to me and explained everything to me.

Dr Bobo is an amazing doctor! He always puts his patients first and has the best bedside manner! He is all about a patients wants and wishes. He spends as much time in the room with patients that we need. He never rushes an appointment. He listens and explains everything. I could not be happier to be his patient!

Dr. Andre T Bobo did a C section and tubal ligation for me in 2019 in an emergency room in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. during the surgery, he caused a blood loss of over 400ml. Also after being discharged from the hospital, it seemed that I had an infection from the surgery located at the insition area in the uterus wall. I checked with a different OBJYN and she told me according to the ultrasound and despite all the antibiotics this infection now is getting worse and she recommend a uterus removal if it is continuous. Because of this Dr., I will never ever have another baby, imagine a mother without a chance to have a baby, additionally to all the unnecessary complications from the uterus removal surgery. Thank you, Dr. for destroying my life.

I met Dr. Bobo in 2001 he performed a tubaligation on me that messed my life up I had to go back immediately the next day because it felt like bricks in my belly and they wanted to open my stomach and let it heal from the inside out I refused, I just had my son in March. Dr. Gibson delivered but because I signed to late she couldn't tie my tubes so I came at a later date and I regret it still to this day I've been having problems since. I forgive you but I regret you giving me my surgey

Dr.Bobo has been my ob/gyn for 15 years. I've been with him since The Wellness Plan. He's delivered all three of my children.I just had baby #3 on April/03/2015. He's very understanding and compassionate. I was beyond heartbroken when he informed me he would be moving out of state at the end of April.I HATE CHANGE and I definitely don't want another OB/GYN..
