I have seen Dr Barrett 3 times. Each time I felt she listened to me, asked appropriate questions, and gave explanations when needed. I did not have an excessive wait to be seen. The staff was helpful.

Genuinely a caring and thoughtful Doctor. Great experience.

4th orthopedic Dr I saw,, and really like her. The medication she put me on is really helping my pain.

I am so sorry Dr. Andrea Barrett is no longer in Colfax to practice. Before moving here on the Palouse, I had been to 3 ortho's in the past (including O.S.H.U. in Portland, Oregon). I am so lucky to find Dr. Barrett. I received awesome care and had a total hip replacement performed by her with fantastic results. She is a brilliant, young orthopedic surgeon whom Colfax will certainly miss. I know I will; I am on schedule for two knee replacements, so I am postponing them for now. I had my surgery at WHMC in Colfax and I was impressed with the care I received while recuperating and also while I did my rehab at WHMC. I will definitely have my knee replacements at WHMC again. PLEASE bring DR. BARRETT BACK!!

I don't know how we got so lucky to find this doctor in the little town of Colfax, WA... but I'm so happy we did. My daughter was seen by 3 other doctors (2 in Moscow, Idaho & 1 in Boise, ID) after being hit by a car; one laughed at her and said "well ya you're gonna hurt... you just got hit by a car", his partner wanted to dismiss her complaints and put her on pain management (at least he did agree to physical therapy) & the 3rd dismissed her claims as well as her physical therapists' report which clearly stated there were damaged areas & gave her some lame pain syndrome diagnosis and suggested pain management as well. Looking for a new doctor, Dr. Barrett's name kept jumping out at me. I got my daughter in to see her and my daughter was so happy to actually have a doctor listen to her and acknowledge her complaints. Mind you, we are now almost 8 months post accident. After reviewing and getting another MRI Dr. Barrett agreed there was something going on. Last week Dr. Barrett… performed surgery and in the areas on my daughters hip where my daughter had been complaining of pain, is where there was a labral tear in the front of the hip creating a flap and jagged edge (to which the 3rd doctor rolled his eyes at the pt report which stated she felt a tear and at my daughters complaints) and there was sciatic nerve damage. We are a week out of surgery; my daughter is still in a lot of pain as that is typical whenever there is nerve repair and nerve repair takes a very long time to heal BUT there is already improvement in areas where it was numb, she is getting some feeling back. Dr. Barrett and her entire staff have been so wonderful in caring for my daughter. Waiting 20-30 minutes for your visit is not an issue with us as when Dr. Barrett is with you, she gives her full attention and doesn't rush you through your appointment, so if that's how she treats all her patients and it causes her to run behind... then waiting we will gladly do. Thank you Dr. Barrett for taking care of my daughter!!!
