Dr. Barrio was my second opinion. She was amazing. She sat with me for as long as needed to explain my type of breast cancer and treatment options. I have multiple drug allergies which she took into consideration when I ended up choosing a mastectomy. I had an excellent experience. She thinks out of the box, is patient and kind. Don't hesitate.

Doctor Barrio is a highly caring, compassionate and highly skilled breast surgeon. Before surgery, she kept me completely informed about the procedures I would be having, always kind and reassuring. My surgery went smoothly, Dr Barrio doing beautiful work. For my follow up visit, Doctor Barrio greeted me with a big smile, a hug and lots of information for me to go on to the next stage of my treatment.

In addition to being an excellent surgeon, Dr Barrio has a positive and reassuring manner which relieves you of much of the stress associated with a breast cancer diagnosis. I feel very fortunate to have had her as my surgeon.

I first met Dr. Barrio when I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 33. She was one of 3 opinions that I got. It was by pure luck that I was placed with her, and I immediately felt confident that choosing her was the right decision and also that I would beat this. I fully believe she saved my life. My diagnosis was almost 3 years ago and I haven't had any issues since. I have a follow up with her next week and always look forward to seeing her. Her bedside manner is fantastic. She is so thorough and explains everything in very easy to understand terms. Can't say enough wonderful things about her!!

If I could give 6 start I would.. This doctor is superb. She has great bed side manners.. She is very patient listen to the concerns and gives very thorough responses. She is very competent.. Great job Dr. Barrio.

Dr. Barrio is an excellent surgeon. She is very thorough and goes over your diagnosis is a way that you will understand it and know your options. When I was diagnosed in Nov, the radiologist called me, followed by a call from Dr. Barrio. It was Thanksgiving week and she wanted to see me in her office before the holiday to go over my diagnosis in the hopes that I would feel better and I definitely felt 100% better not having to wait. She was really booked up but made space for my husband and me. Dr. Barrio has been practicing for years and my lumpectomy and sentinal node bioposy were a breeze. Her skill as a surgeon is awesome. I would highly recommend Dr. Barrio if you need breast cancer surgery. Her assistant Marisa is also great to work with!!
