Dr. Andrea Elyse Ratner Belko, MD

I've never once felt heard by Dr. Belko. She questioned my chronic migraines, headaches, and neck pain (which I have had since I was a child). She's made numerous unprofessional comments to me, including saying I was "just an emotional girl" the first time I mentioned my chronic pain. When I saw her two weeks ago, the first thing she did was make a comment about how I had gained a lot of weight. As someone with a history of an eating disorder documented in my medical chart, this was very shocking. I felt triggered and cried throughout the entire appointment after this comment, and she didn't once acknowledge it. When I asked for a tissue, she simply gestured to the counter. I am usually not one to go out of my way to write a bad review - but I don't believe she should be in this profession when she clearly does not have empathy, decency, or any ounce of professionalism. I'm sorry to anyone else who's experienced a visit with her.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the most unprofessional provider I have ever met. She lacks empathy and compassion for her elderly patients. She lies to her patients and families and is very difficult to work with. She was my elderly mother’s physician and at first I thought I was misreading her. She is definitely unprofessional. I cannot go into detail for privacy reasons for my mother. It wasn’t until I spoke with one of her colleagues solidified that is her baseline and even they wonder how she still practices at Kaiser South because she is so lazy and does everything possible to avoid any additional would benefit her patient.

I have read all the reviews and they are true word to word. She is very careless I wish i would have known about it this before and I would have gotten better treatment.

She really does not care about her patients.. She is unethical and lacks sensitivity.. I’ve had 2 procedures done and reached out to her about my concerns, all I got in response was ‘Thank you for updating me. Please let me know if you have any questions.’ How is that helping a patient in need of help?.. She’s ridiculous!

I don’t even know what to say! I don’t think she heard a word I said. She didn’t address any of my Questions.

This doctor needs to hang up her shingle! Please! She is the worst doctor I have ever seen. She doesn’t seem to care about anything!

I agree with all the other reviews. This doctor should surrender her license and go in to another profession. She obviously doesn’t care about patients or whether they live or die!

She has to be one of the worst MDs on the planet. I don’t know why she is still employed. Kaiser must be desperate!

Rude! I’m not sure why she went to Medical School. It’s obvious she didn’t learn anything about how to treat people. On top of that, I’m not sure when she last showered or washed her hair. I’ve seen homeless people who looked better.
